The Move, indeed. Those psychedelic mods from Jeffman’s hometown of Birmingham. One of the most popular bands of the 60s not to find success in America.
Indeed, it was said of The Move, and I quote: “Without doubt, it was The Beatles, the Stones and The Move in that order in England.”, all-be-it by their own manager.
And so Saturday’s Psychedelic Showcase comes from 1970’s Shazam. A peculiarly formatted rendition of ‘Blackberry Way’.
