Electric Light Orchestra - Sweet Talkin’ Woman (Musical Interlude)
Posted by Jeffman under music videos, musical interlude
As promised last week, one delivers the most agreeable ‘Sweet Talkin’ Woman’ from Electric Light Orchestra’s 1977 double album: Out Of The Blue.
And a fine album it is too.
Jeff Lynne’s permanent wave gets dodgier and Bev Bevan’s drumkit gets bigger.
And while we’re at it, one has to wonder how foolish the bloke playing the cello felt in front of thousands of fans. Not the most portable of instruments when on stage.
But here we go, and by now, the great Roy Wood and The Mighty Move were just a distant memory to the aforementioned purveyors of quality recordings. But he’s not done too bad himself, so with no further ado
Enjoy

Wow. That brings back memories. I’m a fan of ELO, for sure. I remember dancing to their albums in my bedroom, with the headphones on, volume up high, in my teens. I’m 45 now and those days seem centuries ago. Out Of The Blue was the last album I bought of theirs, I believe. It was great.
